I read “A Christmas Carol.” This main character is Scrooge. He is a cold, hard man. He loves money, and he doesn’t like people. He really doesn’t like Christmas, but then some ghosts visit him. They show him his past, his life now, and possible future. Nobody talks to him. He likes it because he doesn’t want to be with people. His past, his life now, and possible future were told by ghosts. It is interesting for me, because he doesn’t like people. Why could the ghosts tell him his past, his life now, and possible future? Finally Scrooge has changed thanks to the ghost. He was a good man and a good friend. He had a good time at Christmas. I want to meet the ghost like this someday.

I read “APOLLO 13.” This name is very famous. It is Monday, April 13, 1970 and Apollo 13 is flying through space. The three astronauts in the command module are going to the Moon. Suddenly, something goes wrong. There is a loud noise and the command module loses power. Oxygen is leaving the ship. The astronauts can’t live without oxygen or power. What can they do? What can their controllers in Houston do? Will the astronauts walk on the Moon? Will they get home again? There are 18 chapters in this book, and they mention the situations what was happened. Some trouble happened, but three astronauts could come back. They gave wonderful dream to people. The trip must have been good trip for three astronauts.

I read “The Earthquake”. These main characters are Gabriel, Marco and Silvia. Gabriel loves Silvia, but she loves Marco. Marco wears expensive clothes and drives a fast car. He is more exciting than Gabriel. Gabriel knows that and he wants to be like Marco. One evening at 8.27 p.m., something terrible happens. It is the earthquake. It changes the lives of everybody in the city. The earthquake is an exciting story of young love in very dangerous time. Silvia can’t move and scream when the earthquake has happened. Suddenly she remembered her mother, so she decided to find and help her mother. On the way she met her neighbor. She asked to him where her mother was now. He told to her that a man helped her mother and took her to the Liberty Park. Then Silvia could meet her mother. Then The affection between Silvia and Gabriel became changing.

I read “BRAD PITT.” Most of people must know him. He is very famous in the world. Of course in Japan! He is so cool. He always liked good movies with strong stories and strong acting. He didn’t plan to be an actor when he was a teenager, but movies put new ideas in his head. He was born in Oklahoma on December 18, 1963. He has his father’s name. At school, Brad was interested in everything: music, sports, theater, writing and girls. As for college, he learned a lot of things in four years at college, but now he wanted to learn about real life. He didn’t want to feel bored. He planned to be an actor in one tear. Now he is a bigger star and made a lot of money from some movies. Everybody knows him. He enjoys every minutes of his life.

I read “JENNIFER LOPEZ”. Today she is the number one Latin actress in the United States. She is “the girl from Puerto Rico.” Jennifer is not only beautiful but also interesting. She is usually famous person. Sometimes she is a singer. Sometimes she is a dancer or movie star, and she is only four years old. Her father works in an office and her mother is a teacher. They want to see their daughters in good jobs, too, so they send Jennifer to the Holy Family Catholic School in New York. It is a good school and Jennifer is a good student. However, she wants to stop going to school, because she wants to be a performer. She goes to her dance school everyday. Then she gets a job. Besides she starts to act. Finally she starts to sing a song. Her success is good for Latin Americans.

I read "Gucci BUSINESS IN FASHION". Most of people must know Gicci. I see people who have Gucci products at University or on the street. Many famous people, for example Madonna, Tom cruise, Holly hunter, Bette Midler, Bryan Ferry, Elizabeth Taylor wear Gicci. When they wear Gicci clothes, they advertise Gucci products. Gucci is famous around the world for beautiful and expensive clothes and other products. They are wallet, jewelry, scarf, belt, perfume and tie. Giccio Gucci was born in 1881 in Florence. He was smart and learned three languages. One Sunday in 1921, he and his wife bought the little store to make beautiful leather products. It was the first Gicci Store. If you are interested in Gucci, why don't you read this book?

I read ”Karen and the ARTIST". This story's heroine is Karen. Her father is professer. She is a flight attendant, so she has to move around the world. When she went to Rome, she called on a little cafe. She found beautiful pictures on the wall. She asked the barman who drew these beautiful pictures. He answered the answer. The man who drew these picture didn't pay money at all. He ate and drink for nothing by giving his picture to the barman. Then a man entered the cafe.His name is Antonio.He drew these pictures. Karen talked with him. He said that he wanted to paint her picture, so karen decided to come back to Rome again. After that, she came back to her country, she selled his pictures to earn money for him. She could sell them and get money. Then she went back to Rome, she visited the cafe. However she couldn't meet Antonio. Then his friend walked toward her and told that Antonio was sick, so they went to Antonio' house. Karen could meet him again. Antonio asked her not go away again. He drew pictures and Karen sells them. She became his agent. It means she stays by his side all the way.

I read "How to be an Alien". When I saw this book for the first time at the library, I decided to read this book at once, because I am interested in alien. However, this book doesn't state how to alien. It observe about English. There are twenty four chapter in this book, so thanks to that, it is easy for us to read. For example chapter three says about weather. chapter four says about how to conversation. There are some sentences of conversation. It is usuful break the ice. People often talk about the weather as break the ice. There are a lot of sentences to break the ice. Some chapters state ways of various things. They may be usuful for us. Why don't read this book someday?

I read "Titanic". This story is very famous in the world. Most people must have known. In 1912 the ship named "Titanic" was lost because of hugh glacier. Many people took this ship. The hero was including in the member. His name is Jack Dawson. He is poor, young artist. He could get an opportunity to take Titanic. Thanks to it he could encounter Rose. They fell in love each other. However, because of the tricks played by destiny, they were separated. Titanic hit hugh glacioer by accident. It was broken by the shock. The incident caused a crack in it. Then people escaped from it, but there were many people in the ship, so it was hard for them to escape fast. Women and children escaped first, namely Rose escaped first. Jack was left, but Rose came back to him. They tried to escape. However, The ship leaked and sank. Jack took care of Rose. They waited people searching for victim. Then Jack has dead. Rose was rescued.
It was so sad dtory for me. I can't read or watch this story without crying.
